Business leaders back golf in Yorkshire

Yorkshire business leaders believe golf has a big future in the county following the successful launch of the Welcome to Yorkshire golf membership scheme.

The event was sponsored by Harrogate based The Electric Broker and Managing Director Chris Brown (pictured)  was delighted with the outcome.

He said: "The Welcome to Yorkshire golf launch was a fantastic event for The Electric Broker to sponsor. It was a great opportunity to get to know some brilliant businesspeople.

"The event was the perfect starting point to begin raising the profile of golf in Yorkshire. We are thrilled we were able to be a big part of it and we can't wait for more events in the future!

"Partnering with Welcome to Yorkshire has allowed us to really showcase our professional asset finance solutions through Ethos and The Electric Broker. We are looking forward to helping business across the region with their finance requirements”.

The occasion marked the announcement of a new range of memberships available to golf clubs and facilities which give them the opportunity to showcase what they have to offer and connect to the millions of visitors who visit every year. Memberships start from just £15 plus VAT per month.

Thirty-two of Yorkshire’s top business owners and sporting personalities enjoyed a round at Headingley Golf Club in Leeds which will jointly host the English Men’s and Women’s Amateur Championships with neighbours Moortown, from 27 July- 1 August 2021.
