Stay and Play at Skipton Golf Club

Golfers can now stay and play at Skipton Golf Club following a recent refurbishment of their holiday accommodation.

Enjoying  an enviable location within the golf course, Kestrel View is a first floor apartment sleeping six, with far reaching views of the National Park and within a few minutes of Skipton.

Booking can be made via Cottages.com  and golf packages can be organised with the club directly.

Skipton Golf Club, one of the most scenic and tranquil golf courses in the North of England, was founded in 1893 on the outskirts of this popular and historic market town.

Nestled among the stunningly beautiful Yorkshire Dales, golfers are captivated by the magnificent views of Sharphaw, Crookrise and Embsay Crag, while Eller Beck provides a superb backdrop as it meanders through the back nine holes, three of which provide Skipton with its very own “Amen Corner.”

The 125th Anniversary in 2018 was marked with the launch of a revised layout, which includes three new professionally designed and built holes under the guidance of architect David Jones and which have enhanced what was already a magnificent and challenging course.

Additional improvements include new tee beds, bunkers and, on the 15th hole, a green raised by five feet. It is a truly enjoyable 6,500-yard challenge for both members and visitors alike and these forward-looking changes only serve to enhance the excellent reputation enjoyed by the club where everyone is guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome.
