Senior Open champion Stephen Dodd heads a stellar field for the Welcome to Yorkshire Ian Woosnam Senior Invitational at Ilkley from September 16-17.
Welshman Dodd held off the challenge from several golfing greats to secure his maiden senior major title at the Senior Open presented by Rolex in July.
He birdied his final hole to post a two-under 68 on Sunningdale's Old Course and end the week on 13 under, a shot clear of Miguel Angel Jimenez.
Former Champion Golfer Darren Clarke finished two off the pace in third spot, while defending champion Bernhard Langer carded a final-round 68 to claim fourth spot ahead of Paul Broadhurst.
Tournament host and 1991 Masters winner Woosnam will be joined by fellow Ryder Cup captain and Ilkley member Mark James. Former professional footballers Lee Sharpe and Clayton Blackmore will also tee it up.
Debutants in this year’s event include European Tour winners Simon Khan and Scot Raymond Russell, while Liam Bond will be back to defend his title after taking the spoils with a terrific round of 65 last year.
And with Covid 19 rules thankfully relaxed this year spectators will be allowed to see some of the world’s best senior golfers in action over the picturesque Ilkley course which winds it way around the River Wharfe.
