About the Club

Saltburn Golf Club was founded in 1894 and is located on the outskirts of Saltburn by the Sea in North Yorkshire. A unique feature of the beautiful parkland course are the stunning views out to sea and inland to the North Yorkshire National Park and the well-known Roseberry Topping.

The course measures 5,974 yards, par 70 for men and 5,561 yards par 72 for ladies and is a fair and enjoyable test of golf for any level of golfer. The four par 3's are particularly interesting with the 12th being acclaimed as one of the best short holes  in the North of England. As a result of considerable expenditure on drainage over the last few years, play is possible all the year round and only rarely do we use temporary greens.

The Club also has a driving range and practice facility which is open to both members and the public. If you are looking to sharpen up your game or give golf a try, then it is certainly the place to visit. Situated across the road from the clubhouse, there are four covered bays and five open air bays along with a chipping area and practice bunkers.

Saltburn Golf Club is well known for its delicious Sunday lunches as well as a selected menu throughout the week. Our outside bistro area is particularly popular, offering great views across the course. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the surroundings.
